Was a football-inspired Nike Cortez on your bingo card for 2024? Well it should've been.

ICYMI, sneaker hybrids are basically the zeitgeist of 2024, and Nike weren't playing around when they wanted to give the same treatment to their beloved Cortez.

Channelling their Tiempo football silhouette, the Nike Cortez SE looks as though it's a fusion of both, largely thanks to the addition of the removable tongue flap sitting above the laces. There's plenty of large Swooshes everywhere, from the tongue flaps to the heel. Speaking of the heels, they're actually mismatched, with the left reading '72', a shoutout to the silhouette's debut year.

Keeping things clean is the crisp 'Metallic Cool Grey/Black-Gum' colour palette.
